Taxes when buying iherb from Singapore

A common question on GST ..

(Answer extracted from www.iherb.com today
  • There is a 7% Goods and Services Tax (GST) levied on all goods imported into Singapore.
  • GST is calculated based on the CIF value of the goods plus all duties payable. GST relief is granted on goods (excluding liquor and tobacco products) imported by post not exceeding SGD $400.
  • When the value exceeds SGD $400, the entire sum would be subject to GST.
In any case, if you want to pay only $4 flat shipping fee via Singpost to Singapore, then your value of purchase can't exceed $200 or 6.35kg. So if you keep to this threshold, you will not need to pay GST.

Btw, if you are first time customer, receive $10 off 1st order of $40 & up, or $5 off on smaller orders, when using code: HQT301.
