Iherb product review - Kashi Crunchy Granola Bars

I have a good habit of eating breakfast without fail. However, I have a bad habit of eating all the local delicacies like mee hoon and such, which are very high in carbs and fats. 

As such, as part of the plan to eat healthier and to limit the incessant expansion of the waistline, I am now adding granola bars into my breakfast selection. 

Tried Kashi roasted almond crunch and found it to be quite tasty. However, do note that the texture of the bar is a bit hard (not the soft chewy kind) , almost like a hard cookie, so you will need to really chew on it and wash it down with a cup of coffee or something.

iHerb Product review - Derma E Overnight Peel

Being a very fuss free person, I find that face maintenance is a real hassle. As such, for a very long time since I had a baby, I have been skipping any daily routine and I have not been able to go for facials regularly. Also, I also find putting on a mask quite cumbersome as we are not supposed to leave it on for more than 15 minutes and I usually prefer to sleep that extra 15 minutes instead.

Hence, all these have taken a toll on the skin as skin generally looks dull and uneven. As such, I decided to try this leave-in overnight peel which promises to resurface the skin. So I can just use it and go to sleep as I only need to wash it off the following morning.

It was not expensive at US$12.21 so I decided to just give it a try. I use it around 1-2 times a week after washing my face. Once I put it on, I feel a little tingling sensation as the acid works its effect. However, it was not painful and the tingling goes away very soon.

After a month of using it, I feel that the skin feels smoother and more radiant. Think the exfoliating effect is quite effective, especially for a product at this cost. Recommended.

Iherb product review - Earth's Best organic barley biscuits

Given that iherb has lots of organic products, I figured I would buy some kids snack for baby as they are often much more expensive in Singapore. 

Today, I realised to my shock that one of the orders I had purchase three months ago in Feb had already expired in March ! And I had fed baby with it in March and in April. Oops. 

So I quickly did a quick scan of the latest product in iherb and realise that for some of the products under the same brand (the biscuits) , the expiry dates can be as near as two months away but some are about 1-2 years away for most of the other products. So I concluded that when I first bought the product in Feb, I must have neglected to look at the expiry date that's clearly printed on every product page. 

Learning : check expiry before purchase and before feeding baby always !!
